Our new productlines - SENSOR, COMPOSER and FISH

It was announced in issue 0003 of our News Splash, that SEIBOLD-Messtechnik will
introduce a differentiated line of products at the beginning of 2007. The new and
extended offer is concentrating on measurement of heavy metals in liquids and ranges
from comparatively simple monitoring of threshold values to sophisticated analysis
of multiple parameters under complex conditions.
All three series of course have in common, that they strictly follow the quality
claims according to the SEIBOLD design-principles: reliable operation, highest
accuracy, robust design, easy handling, minimal maintenance and best total cost of
ownership - but this is nothing new.

New on the other hand is that customers can choose from three different offerings
referring to price and performance and now even better can adjust their investment
to their precise requirements. All three lines of products are available for both
the measurement on the basis of ion selective electrodes and colourimetric methods,
being deployed depending on the parameters to be measured. Illustrating our
specialisation, our focus on measurement of heavy metals in liquids is shown in the
following list.

Examples for measurement of multiple parameters are the combinations zinc/copper
and iron/nickel. We have developed a system being able to detect multiple parameters
in the course of only one measurement cycle, fulfilling the requirements of our
customers´ complete satisfaction. Another new category is concentrating on
measurement of complex compounds at the lowest level of online measurent, e.g.
cyanide (CN) in the range of 0.005 to 0.5 mg/l or ammonia (NH3) in the range of
0.001 to 0.1 mg/l.
For simply monitoring threshold values, for example in industrial processes, devices
of our product line SENSOR offer inexpensive solutions for continuously checking
compliance of values in a defined range. In case an under- or overflow of the
defined limits is detected, alarm signals are generated. SENSOR analysers can easily

be connected to existing control systems and offer further options of alarm. All
SENSOR devices are produced as 19 inch installation racks and therefore suit into
most of the existing equipment of customers. In addition, all devices can be mounted
on mounting plates and thus are available in any dimension required by customers.
If monitoring threshold values is not sufficient in an application, devices of our
productline COMPOSER allow for measuring and recording of ongoing changing
parameters in a defined range at highest accuracy. Devices of our productline
COMPOSER are mounted in standardised cabinets for industrial use, are equipped with
a specific display and further comprise comprehensive options for operation and
control. During ongoing measurement all measured values are checked for plausability
and an analysis of trends, calculated at runtime, is taken into consideration.
All COMPOSER devices are available "off the shelf" with all prevalent measuring
ranges for a number of elements and parameters to be monitored.

For superior measurement, requiring specific and complicated factors of samples to
be followed, our productline FISH offers a system allowing for adaption of any
standardised measurement, as as used with all other productlines, to given
characteristics.
The specialists of SEIBOLD- Messechnik will engineer all required adjustments in
cooperation with the customer.
