In recent years there was an outstanding industrial campus being
developed in the area of Wuchang/China
where a large number of successful companies have settled. The
industrial sewage treatment plant was
equipped with SEIBOLD-Messtechnik measurement devices.

In cooperation with a partner of many years in this area the service team of
SEIBOLD-Messtechnik put into operation the online analysers of the industrial
sewage treatment plant located in the new business park of Wuchang.
Following the ambitious criteria for discharge of local authorities the parameter
chromate (Cr IV), nickel (Ni), zinc (Zn) and fluoride (F) are continuously
monitored and recorded at supply

and drain of the new sewage treatment plant.
All data resulting from measurement are used for control and documentation of
the system, as well as indicating alarm, as the case may be and an under- or
overflow of threshold values according to the requirements of local
authorities is detected. The system supports the customer´s requirements for
minimum maintenance to his complete satisfaction beside reliable measuring
results.
The online analysers in use are of the series COMPOSER (former EASY) and have
been optimised for best possible stability and minimum maintenance. As a result
of this optimisation ongoing operation is provided by maintenance support of
only 4 weeks.
The challenge of delivering chemicals used for reagents to and inside China
was solved through an interesting cooperation with a professional laboratory
in the area.
To SEIBOLD-Messtechnik this installation is another proof for robustness and
reliableness of its analysers.
