Voltammetrie
|
 |
After successful completion of our research project on developing a new
series of analysers for measurement
of heavy metals we have decided to launch a new development project on
voltammetry for heavy metals.
Within a year´s time we want to expand our product offering by new equipment
based on this new method
in online-analysis.

From the beginning, openness towards new developments has been one of the strengths
of SEIBOLD-Messtechnik. Breaking new grounds in order to provide an interesting
set of high quality products to our customers is an important reason for
the SEIBOLD-Team to repeatedly address new challenges with great passion.
Voltammetry is an electro-analytical method where conclusions on the composition of
a sample to be measured are drawn from the analysis of voltage-dependent flow of
the current
|
between two solid body electrodes. By means of controlled accumulation
and dissolution (stripping) of substances on these solid body electrodes
voltage/current characteristics can be recorded and the concentration of certain
elements in the sample be calculated from.
It is our expectation that extremely accurate measurement will then be possible
even at very low concentrations of substances. Using our chemical and electronical
expertise we await valuable results from this project within one years time and
then will be able able to attractively expand our product offering.
We are looking forward to informing you on the current status of this encouraged
project in the coming issues of SEIBOLD News Splash! |
